Remodelling and Renovation of the Training Ctr., Altstetten

The renovation of the bank building dates back to 1975. Building A is going to be remodelled. The system and computer rooms on the ground floor and on the first upper floor will become offices and conference rooms. The facades on the ground and first upper floor will be redesigned. . The sheet metal facades and concrete elements will be removed to enlarge the window openings. New window elements made of aluminium profiles including sun protection will be installed. Replacement and design of a separate lobby area for new accessibility. On the 2nd upper floor, a partition system will be installed. Building B will be modified to comply with the latest state of building technology including the renovation of ramps and supports on the basement floor.

Kunstmuseum Bern Gebäudemanagement

Werke von Paul Klee, Pablo Picasso, Ferdinand Hodler und Meret Oppenheim haben das Kunstmuseum Bern zu einer Institution mit Weltruf gemacht. Die stets wachsende und sich wandelnde Sammlung besteht derzeit aus über 3'000 Gemälden und Skulpturen sowie rund 48'000 Handzeichnungen, Druckgrafiken, Fotografien, Videos und Filmen. Die Wurzeln des Museums reichen bis zu den revolutionären Ideen des ausgehenden 18. Jahrhunderts zurück, die 1809 in Bern zur Gründung der Staatlichen Kunstsammlung und 1879 zur Eröffnung des ersten Museumsbaus geführt haben. Das Kunstmuseum Bern ist das älteste Kunstmuseum der Schweiz mit einer permanenten Sammlung und beherbergt Werke aus acht Jahrhunderten.

Modernisation Hotel Bern

More than 100 years ago, at the end of October 1914, the former Volkshaus opened its doors at Zeughausgasse 9 in Bern. About 30 years ago, the Volkshaus was completely gutted and equipped with 99 rooms, two restaurants and an 800 m2 seminar floor to the standard of a 4-star hotel and given the name Hotel Bern.
Despite ongoing maintenance and repair work, Volkshaus AG has decided to modernise the Hotel Bern. In particular, the hotel is to be given a clear face and identification with a clear architectural signature. An unmistakable architectural red line is to be created, which takes up the history and location of the hotel, and makes the visitor aware of this in an intelligent, sympathetic and modern way.
As the client's representative, Emch+Berger is taking the lead from the architects, planners, contractors and suppliers and is working very closely with those responsible for the hotel (management, operations and facility management). By taking on the client's interests during the planning and execution phase, Emch+Berger ensures that the project is realised in accordance with the specified objectives and constraints, and on time and within budget.

Neubau Verwaltungsgebäude

Auf dem Areal „Meielen Nord“ in Zollikofen soll langfristig eine Gesamtüberbauung mit 5 möglichen Gebäudekörpern realisieret werden. In einer ersten Etappe wird für das Bundesamt für Informatik und Telekommunikation (BIT) ein Neubau erstellt. Das Gebäude bietet Platz für 700 Mitarbeitende und wird mit einem Totalunternehmer (TU) realisiert.

The ZHB location on the 1st upper floor of the UNI/PHZ building connects the thus far decentralized university libraries of ZHB with the research library of PHZ to create a large research library in the centre of Lucerne. Projektwettbewerb WankdorfCity

In WankdorfCity entstehen in den nächsten Jahren ein neuer Stadtteil inmitten des ESP Wankdorf und eine neue eigenständige, städtische Identität. Das neue Viertel wird in Etappen wachsen und in rund 10 Jahren fertig erstellt sein. Die Stadt Bern setzt auf eine dem ganzheitlichen Qualitätsdenken verpflichtete Architektur. Ziel ist, einen dem Zeitgeist entsprechenden und qualitativ hochwertigen Arbeitsort für über 5000 Arbeitsplätze zu schaffen.
Im Rahmen des Entwicklungsplans WankdorfCity wurden für Losinger Consruction AG zwei eingeladene Projektwettbewerbe für zwei Gebäude mit insgesamt 55'000 m² BGF Büronutzung ausgeschrieben und begleitet.

Les Galeries du Rex

Nahe dem Hauptbahnhof in Fribourg entstand im Auftrag der Credit Suisse ein Einkaufszentrum mit Büronutzung und Wohnungen.
Mehr als 50 Wohnungen im Minergiestandard, flexibel ausbaubare Büroflächen, grössere und kleinere Retailflächen und ein Grossverteiler sind hier in einem attraktiven Zentrum zusammengefasst.

New Obesunne Senior Residences, Arlesheim

Stiftung zur Obesunne or Obesunne Foundation would like to provide Arlesheim and surrounding areas with future-oriented, functionally furnished apartments. Therefore, one of the largest senior living projects was created in the Basel region. It successfully combines independent living in an age-appropriate environment with the option to have comprehensive, modular services provided by the connected Senior Residence and Nursing Home. For this purpose, one building of the nursing home complex was demolished along with two adjoining buildings, which were in need of restoration. The new modern building was completed in only 18 months. It houses 74 senior residences flooded with light and suitable for independent living with attractive outdoor spaces, offices for Spitex and a hall for cars.

Umbau Bahnhof Biel

Der Bahnhof Biel wurde den neuen Bedürfnissen angepasst. Die Organisation des Gebäudes wurde komplett neu konzipiert. Das denkmalgeschützte Gebäude aus den Anfängen des 20. Jahrhunderts wurde von Grund auf erneuert. Das Gebäude wurde, ohne die äussere Gestalt zu verändern auf den technischen und energetischen Stand von 2010 gebracht. Es entstanden so attraktive Geschäfts- und Retailflächen an bester Lage in der Stadt Biel.
Die Nutzungen waren während der Bauphase gestaffelt in ein Prov. ausgelagert.

UBS AG Branch Format

Over the next years, UBS AG intends to re-standardize and optimize the UBS network of branches in Switzerland. Its goal is to create a unified look of all branches with a design concept and therefore, achieve distinct brand awareness. The network of branches of UBS Switzerland is divided into 10 clusters. The renovation of these branch offices will be carried out in 8 phases. In total, UBS AG will renovate and unify approx. 380 branches in Switzerland.

New construction Stilli Park Hotel Intercontinental, Davos

The "Stilli Park Intercontinental" hotel, which stands on a pedestal, comprises 230 rooms and suites. The hotel facilities include a hall, bars, the Club Lounge, restaurants, a SPA as well as conference halls and the spacious park.

There are 38 exclusive residences in front of the hotel.

Neubau „Nautilus“

Neubau eines Bürogebäudes für die Invalidenversicherung (IV) Bern für ca. 450 Mitarbeitende an guter Lage in Bern mit sehr gutem Anschluss an den öffentlichen Verkehr (S-Bahnhaltestelle Wankdorf). Die Lage hat Potential in Bezug auf den Entwicklungsschwerpunkt Wankdorf City. Das Gebäude wird in Minergie-Standard erstellt, unter Berücksichtigung der Ausschlusskriterien nach Minergie - ECO. Die Credit Suisse ist Alleineigentümer des Gebäudes für den Grundausbau, Verkäufer ist die Losinger Marazzi AG. Die IV Bern ist Singel Tenat.

HWO New Student Housing, ETH Zurich

This housing complex, which consists of three buildings, will be construction by the Stiftung für Studentisches Wohnen of Foundation for Student Housing in cooperation with ETH Zurich. The foundation is in charge of two buildings, ETH for one of the buildings, which are co-financed with funds from private foundations. The buildings should be finished and ready for occupancy by autumn of 2015. This is not only the first housing complex, which will be located directly on the campus; with its planned 485 rooms and 8 studios in 63 shared apartments, it is also the largest student housing complex in the city.

Stilli Park Hotel Intercontinental, Davos

This hotel has 230 rooms and suites and it is constructed on a base, where lobby, bars, club lounge, restaurants and conference rooms as well as a spacious SPA are located. In front of the main building are two rectangular buildings with 38 exclusive residences.

Due Dilligence Hotel Project Stilli Park, Davos

Stilli Park AG, as landowner, developed a new hotel and residences in Davos. The development project was examined by Credit Suisse AG Real Estate Asset Management in autumn 2010 in a due diligence process. The hotel comprises approx. 220 rooms and suites with SPA, indoor pool, ballroom, 7 conference rooms, business centre, 2 restaurants, bar, club and skybar. In front of it are two building blocks with 38 residences.

Überbauung Lauenen

Aufgrund der attraktiven Hanglage am Höheweg in Thun war das Ziel, eine Überbauung mit einem erhöhten Qualitätsstandart für Wohneigentum zu erstellen.
Das Projekt setzt sich aus 17 Wohneinheiten zusammen und gliedert sich in ein Doppeleinfamilienhaus und drei Mehrfamilienhäuser à je fünf 4 ½ Zimmerwohnungen.
Die Gebäude wurden in Massivbauweise mit hinterlüfteter Holzfassade erstellt. Die leicht geneigten Flachdächer wurden mit einer extensiven Begrünung ausgeführt. Alle Gebäude sind unterkellert, die Wohnungen der drei Mehrfamilienhäuser sind ab der durchgehenden, darunterliegenden Einstellhalle mittels Lift erschlossen.

Office Building Platform, Zurich

Platform is the horizontal counterpart of Prime Tower. This seven-story commercial building is the head office of the consulting firm of Ernst & Young AG in Zurich and it offers space for 1,000 employees. The centre is formed by a spacious atrium illuminated from the top. In addition to the office spaces, 26 meeting rooms, an auditorium, a library, an employee restaurant and cafeteria are added.

New office building for Roche Group IT

Roche is planning to bring together approx. 1'300 employees of its in-house IT department on its site in Kaiseraugst. 4 new buildings will be built in a very short space of time. The construction work began in the 1st quarter of 2015. The goal of this “fast track project” is to hand over the first two buildings ready for use at the end of 2016. Emch+Berger AG Gesamtplanung Hochbau Basel will be in charge of the project after the conceptual design phase as general planner.

New logistics center Bülach - UPS Center Zurich

UPS United Parcel Service (Schweiz AG) moves into a new parcel distribution center in the logistics zone in Bülach Nord.
The company location Rümlang is moved there. The center is scheduled to go into operation in the first quarter of 2021. The Credit Suisse Real Estate Fund LogisticsPlus is in the process of redeveloping the logistics zone in Bülach Nord.

A parcel distribution center with offices, social rooms and a workshop is being built on a site of around 14,000 m2. The project is part of the overall development of the logistics zone in Bülach Nord, which is being implemented by the Credit Suisse Real Estate Fund LogisticsPlus real estate fund.

UPS has signed a long-term lease agreement. One of the company's more than 400 European branches will open here at the beginning of 2021. UPS (NYSE: UPS) is a leading global logistics company that provides comprehensive package and freight transportation solutions, promotes international trade, and uses state-of-the-art technology to help businesses operate more efficiently.

The package and distribution center is part of UPS's multi-year, $2 billion European investment plan. The plan aims to modernize and expand the UPS network across the continent. The parcel and distribution center in Bülach will have an operating area of approximately 6,300 m2 and a sorting capacity of 5,500 parcels per hour. This is around 50 percent more than the current building in Rümlang, which it will replace. The new facility will combine parcel, freight and supply chain services under one roof, thus offering customers greater efficiency. Around 200 employees will work in the building.

Rehabilitation of the OTIF head office, Bern

OTIF is an important international organisation with its headquarters in Berne. This organisation uses simple and effective legal instruments to promote, improve and facilitate international rail transport. The formally modest office building at Gryphenhübeliweg 30 in Berne has been well maintained in recent decades, but has hardly been repaired since it was built in 1965. Therefore, a comprehensive renovation, taking into account ecological aspects, is urgently needed today. The property is listed in the building inventory of the city of Bern as "worthy of preservation". This classification is largely due to the fact that the interiors have significant wall decorations worthy of protection, including a mural by Hans Erni.
Special attention is to be paid to the access road, the entrance area and the foyer with the conference room, as external persons such as diplomats and representatives regularly visit the building. Among other things, the addition of at least four new interpreting rooms in the conference hall should be examined. Furthermore, it must be clarified whether the terrace above the 3rd floor can be better used or even extended, this taking into account the building and planning law requirements. The users and the owner of the building are not seeking to increase the office space.

Swiss Post Office headquarters Wankdorfallee, Bern

The well-developed Majowa service building will be the future headquarters of the Swiss Postal Services and has space for around 1'800 work stations on its 33'700 m2 rental space. Apart from a staff restaurant, a conference centre will also be built and there will be 170 parking spaces for cars and 450 spaces for cycles on the underground floors. The project is being realised in accordance with the exacting and comprehensive criteria of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) and the Swiss Sustainable Building Council (SGNI) seals of approval. The construction work will be carried out between spring 2012 and autumn 2014.

New construction Tropenhaus Frutigen

Tropenhaus takes a leading role in the utilization of renewable energies in the Alpine region. It breeds fish and cultivates fruit and as a model operation, it is the competency centre for experiencing with all senses the topics and services connected with it.

New Railway Station, Aarau

The canton Aargau participates in this new railway station project by acquiring unit No. 4 (2nd upper floor). . This unit has 3,446 m2 of service space, the interior of which was completed in a modern design providing office space for 176 workstations. This project was realized by our partner office for building economy www.bfbag.ch .

SWAN-Haus, Inselspital Bern

On the premises of the Inselspital, SWAN Isotopen AG is building an isotope laboratory with a cyclotron and corresponding research facilities for isotope production and research. In addition to the private research facilities, the University of Bern is also setting up new research rooms. The Inselspital will have two wards on the top two floors.

Bellerive Senior Residences, Lucerne

The Kreuzbuch property is located in the midst of a preferred residential area of Lucerne. The existing villa with its baroque staircase forms the centre of the building complex. The planned new construction is linear arranged following the topography of the incline. The villa will be remodelled to be used as lobby and restaurant and it forms the outer space of the new buildings' centre. An underground garage connects all buildings. The use is conforming to a senior residence with mainly 2 1/2 -room and 3 1/2-room senior residencies. Building C houses on one floor a nursing facility.
